Our baby boy is starting to stand on his own to feet and LOVES to walk around with very little assistance from any adult nearby. He’s eating like a champ and enjoys smearing his face with his soggy cookie (it’s a good thing he loves taking a bath).

This year was definitely a white Christmas, with over 14 inches of snow falling in KC over the holidays. Aunt Abby came to town and we ended up basically hanging out at the Millers in our pj’s for a whole week… hanging out and playing Super Mario Bros. Blake didn’t really know what to think of all the snow, and was rather perplexed about his first sledding experience (which was his first time to use the sled the Nelson’s gave us over a year ago).

You can tell by his face he’s not digging the spoon-fed dinner, but he gave it a sporting chance. Due to the mess and his lack of interest, we only tried a few times after this then let it go. The goal is to try again after Thanksgiving… at which time he’ll have seen us stuff our faces for an entire week and will likely see how much fun we’re having, and want in on the gig.
