We made the drive to Colorado Springs to have Christmas with my family, minus Caleb and Emily’s clan.

While staying at the Vollbracht farm, we had some frost.  While taking a little photo expedition to the “frozen” pond, I lost a shoe.

One night we battled traffic to see the light show at Seven Falls.

The next morning we did some rock climbing at Garden of the Gods.  A highlight for the kids.

Grandma and some of the cousins built a gingerbread house.

We had an AMAZING time in Ethiopia.  Our prayers for finding a place to focus FBC‘s ministry efforts have been answered, and it seems pretty obvious to ME that we will be returning to south-central Ethiopia for many years to come.  I’ll give a more detailed trip report soon, so in the meantime take a look at some photos from our trip.
