We headed to a crowded house where we celebrated Kade’s birthday with family from across the country. Alyssa, still striving for her own cake show, built a wonderful masterpiece while Brent was throwing the kids in piles of leaves. As for the rest of us, we just hung out on the new deck relaxing in the unseasonable temperate fall weather of Kansas.
