Gee, I missed all that winter weather while in Southern California. But as fate would have it, they got snow before we did. Temecula gets hit with it’s first significant snowfall in 20 years. A couple days later we got our first snow here in Gardner. This is the scene I woke to the day before Thanksgiving:

Now it’s snowing again. I think I just peed myself with excitement.

Carrie was able to snag some tickets from work for the Chief’s glorious defeat on Monday Night Football. The stadium is crazy loud, and the excitement contagious. Too bad our sucky defense tends to put a damper on things.

But we did win… section 317 that is. We won a free pizza at Papa Johns, I suppose it’s our consolation prize.

Fun fact: KC hasn’t had a Monday Night game since 2000, but this year, Arrowhead hosts three MNF games in a season where we’re 3-7 going into the Thanksgiving season. Pity.

My Epson inkjet printer ran out of ink recently so I embarked on that dreaded task of getting refills. I haven’t really used my color printer in years because I was fearful of using up all that precious ink. But I recently bought a bunch of ink refills from 4inkjet.com for about $55. It’s probably too late, but if you haven’t seen LOST on ABC then you need to get crackin’. Most of you know that The Amazing Race takes top honors in my TV heart (which incidentally starts season 6 next Tues), but Lost just may have taken it’s spot.
