And since I don’t have internet at the house yet, my friends Albert and Jenny Popp have been so kind as to let me set up shop in their basement.

This weekend, Carrie’s parents are dropping by on their way home from Wisconsin. Then tomorrow morning (Sunday), I’ll be headed to Colorado with my sister to help show off Maddox to the grandparents. As if I didn’t get enough driving in over the past couple weeks.

lazyzealot is back! well, most of her at least. I’m still trying to figure out how to get the old entries reposted… the import feature doesn’t seem to be working.

With the rebirth of LZ.com, I’ve downloaded the latest version of MovableType that has some pretty cool stuff in it… most of which is a delight to me, but invisible to you. I’d definantly recommend MT. It’s free, easy to use and with a capable host, suprisingly fast and flexible. If you’re curious, let me know.

Update: got the old posts uploaded. Everything should be back to normal, so let me know if you find something that doesn’t work.

hi there. I bit the bullet and signed up for a web host… which means that lazyzealot.com should not only be up all the time, it SHOULD be faster too!
In the meantime, I still need to pull off the old site from my old computer, so come back next weekend and all will be right as rain.

The big move is coming up, and I still haven’t started packing. The schedule looks something like this: pack all this weekend, maybe try to pawn off my pooltable and washer & dryer to lighten the load. Monday I’ll pick up the 17 foot Budget Truck and start to load my crap. Tuesday night I’ll finish up loading and leave first thing on Wednesday for a long two day solo journey eastward. I’ll be taking the southern route using I-40 most of the way, so feel free to stop by the highway and wave.

I’ll arrive in KC late Thursday night and if all goes as planned, the closing will be 9am the next morning. But I’ve heard a rumor that the builder may miss the closing date due to the city dragging their feet on getting utilites installed… namely the electricity.

I’ve been trying to get things squared away with the new house, but as of now, I have no internet access there… so the future of LazyZealot.com looks dim for the next several weeks. This may be my last post for awhile and since I have to packup this computer the site will go down next Tuesday night, so let’s wipe those tears, say goodbye and hope for a speedy return.

Against my wishes and a court order, Carrie broke into my house again and took some more pictures. Here you can see the outside is just about done… save for the ugly lawn.
