Building up to it

My beloved girl, Carrie, broke into my house over the weekend to take some pictures of how things are progressing. Sadly I will be forced to press charges for breaking and entering… so I’ll be visiting my incarcerated girlfriend as often as I can, and making meticulous plans for her escape. Wish me luck.

In the meantime, here’s some of the evidence:

Well, it’s happening. With the help of my realtor Susan, I bought a house in Gardner, Kansas on Monday. Closing date is set at July 16. So, who wants to help move?

Babies of Cousins

Maddox and Ryan had a meeting of the minds this past weekend in York. Aren’t they a pair.

(My sister and Maddox are staying with the parents in York for a few weeks, and my cousin Michal and Ryan drove up from DC to visit)

I’ll be in Kansas City this weekend on the trail of my next home. Hopefully when I get back, this whole move thing will start to fall into place and I’ll have a better idea of when things will go down. Incidentally, if anyone is interested in renting our house in Temecula, call me and we’ll talk. Tell them you saw it here and you could receive 25% off the going market rate! Be one of the first 100 to call and you will be eligible to receive a free toaster. Hurry while supplies last.

Yesterday was my sister’s 25th birthday. But she’s in NYC cold chillin’ with the parents, so I won’t get to see her and the cute tub ‘o lard that is my nephew when I’m in Kansas. Happy Birthday little sis! And Happy Birthday to Rachael, a dear old high school friend that, until yesterday, I haven’t talked with in years. Sometimes your past just comes up and smacks you in the face.
I’m awake now.
