Footballs

Last night Eric, Joy, and myself drove up to LA to see an old JBU friend of ours, Josh Watts… a trainer for the Dallas Burn. The Burn lost to the Galaxy with a goal in the 90th minute at one of the most attended soccer games I’ve ever been too. Oh, incidentally, the Home Depot Center, though it may be a great stadium, is one of the worst layouts I’ve ever seen. They don’t know how to put signs up anywhere.

Football (the American kind) is starting this week. I love it.

Peeler Lake

Here’s some pictures from my backpacking trip to Peeler Lake. (just north of Yosemite)

One day, I’ll make a pretty photo album and upload some more pictures… kinda like I did last time.

Thanks Alexander

Got a shiny new Samsung i700 yesterday. We’re thinking about getting a few of these for work so that the guys can keep in touch more while away from the office.

No doubt, it’s a cool toy… they’re just not quite there yet with the perfect PDA. But this sure is a step in the right direction. Here’s a few tricks I’d like to see my new pet do:

  • post to lazyzealot.com from anywhere
  • video conferencing
  • voice activated dialing
  • remote access to lz.com server
  • automatically go out and get my email
  • wireless activesync

House of Cards

Fridays are poker night as the Simms house. The game is Texas Hold’em and the stakes are… well, let’s just say my stack of high society is made of quarters. It’s fun time with the friends, except when the number grows to an unrulely 13… then the fun quickly diminishes (even thought the pots grow nicely).

Also, sorry about the website being down. It is, after all, running on a crappy old 233mhz Dell. She just needs to be restarted every now and then.

At least it rained…

This is why it took me two hours to get home tonight.
